Today's Geo Quiz sent us to an island near Reykjavik, Iceland.

Videy Island: Videy Island (Viðey Island) is the tip of a long extinct volcano. There are no trees just grasses and vegetation like tufted vetch.

well that bears the words “Imagine
Peace” in 24 languages. Photo courtesy

It's the site of a new monument to John Lennon and peace. The Peace Tower will be lit every year from John Lennon's birthday October 9th to the anniversary of his death December 9th.

Videy Island: The Imagine Peace Tower has a wishing well at its base that's covered with slabs of pure white glass crafted in Japan. Strong lights and mirrors placed inside the wishing well will illuminate "imagine peace" in 24 languages, including "Hugsa sér frið" in Icelandic.

Reporter Libby Casey is on hand for the christening. Earlier today, she gave us the answer to our quiz.
